The Ford Mustang recently showed off its newest assets for 2013 at the 2011 L.A. Auto Show, sporting a redesigned look and, perhaps most notably, a power boost. The newest Mustang will be available at Sid Dillon in Spring 2012 for shoppers seeking the Ford near Omaha.
Offering quite a few more ponies in the 2013 model year, the Ford Mustang is even sure to rival vehicles renown for their power, like the Camaro and Corvette. In addition to the power boost, shoppers seeking a F

“Mustang stays fresh by keeping pace with everything going on in the tech world,” said Dave Pericak, Mustang chief engineer. “We are taking all the technology people are used to using and finding ways to integrate it into Mustang, based on enthusiasts’ feedback.”
At glance, it’s obvious the 2013 model presents itself more aggressively, with a distinctive, prominent grille. Adding to its look, the vehicle features a more powerful splitter and heat contractors on the hood of the GT. According to Mustang chief designer Darrell Behmer, the goal was to show a “more distinctive and emotional design that celebrates the total performance” of the vehicle.
The 2013 Mustang also sports a few more design tweaks, like standard high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps on the V6 and GT. Shoppers seeking the Ford near Omaha with an even more distinct lighting display can opt for upgrades like two individual light-emitting diode (LED) bars and three LED ropes forming the characteristic three-bar rear lights.
Beyond the 2013 Mustang’s exterior is where the most impressive upgrades lie. The American muscle car houses the most powerful V8 engine sold any automaker in the world, capable of taking drivers in the Ford near Omaha a brisk 200 miles per hour.
The Ford Shelby GT500, for instance, received a major power boosts, now with 650 horsepower—100 more than its prior model. Its performance is propelled from a supercharged 5.8-liter V8, which is a more horsepower than highly-acclaimed fast cars like the Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, and even Ferrari 458 Italia. The Shelby accommodates its upsurge with tweaks to various aspects, including a launch control system for more controlled top-speed starts.
Besides the Shelby, other 2013 Mustang models boast power, with the standard 5-liter V8 generating 420 horsepower in the GT. Additionally, the six-speed automatic transmission offers an optional mix-your-own-gear mode, plus upgrades to the brakes, cooling and suspension.
Continuing the 2013 revamps, the 2013 Mustang is equipped with an innovative dash computer displaying “Track Apps.” These programs measure g-forces, 0-60 times, braking information, and quarter-mile runs.

Sid Dillon Crete serving Nebraska Ford shoppers is thrilled to welcome the 2012 Ford F-150 truck to their dealership. Nebraska Ford shoppers can expect more of what they love from the new 2012 F series including advanced technologies and driveline upgrades.
New for 2012 is the addition of the FX package. The new FX appearance package is available on both FX4 and FX2 trucks and delivers a unique look with stealthy, flat-black accents. The look is set off with black fender and tailgate badges that feature red lettering, which is carried into the interior with a red-stitched steering wheel.
The FX’s interior also features black leather seating surfaces with red perforations and red piping. Unique interior touches include black-painted dash accents, brushed-metal surfaces, and satin shifter knob, door handles and air conditioning vent bezels. The package is available with all FX colors. Also new for 2012, the FX luxury package now offers cooled front seats, which combine with the previously available heated seats.
Nebraska Ford shoppers will appreciate a very important feature added to the 2012 model, Hill Start Assist. This feature helps keep the truck from rolling backward at a stop, making it easier to pull away when on a slope or hill, especially when towing. With the brake pedal pressed, if sensors detect the vehicle is on a slope, the system is automatically activated. Brake pressure is held in the braking system, and the truck remains stationary on the slope for up to two seconds after the driver releases the brake pedal.
All of the changes for 2012 complement a powertrain lineup that debuted in 2011. The powertrain lineup delivers a mix of best-in-class horsepower, torque, capability and fuel economy. Each new engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Ford is the first and only manufacturer to equip its entire full-size pickup truck lineup with fuel-saving six-speed automatic transmissions as standard.
Nebraska Ford shoppers can learn more about the new 2012 Ford F-150 by calling Sid Dillon Crete at (402) 826-2668 or visiting the dealership in person at 2455 E Highway 33, Crete.
